3TCPA Consent & Communications
⚠ Important TCPA Disclosure — Please Read Carefully
By submitting your phone number through any form on this website, you expressly consent to receive calls and/or text messages from Cali First Remodel, Inc. at the phone number you provided. This consent includes contact via automated dialing systems, pre-recorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS/MMS text messages. You agree that this consent applies even if your phone number is currently listed on any federal, state, or local Do Not Call (DNC) registry. Message and data rates may apply. Your consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Your consent to receive automated communications covers, but is not limited to, the following types of contact:
- Estimate follow-up and scheduling calls from CaliFirst Remodel representatives.
- Project consultation calls from licensed contractors matched to your inquiry.
- Appointment reminders and project status updates via SMS.
- Promotional offers related to home improvement services (subject to separate opt-in where required).
Opting Out: You may revoke your consent to receive automated calls or text messages at any time. To opt out of text messages, reply STOP to any text message we send. To opt out of phone calls, submit a request through our Privacy Choices page. Opting out will not affect your right to receive a free estimate or any services you have already requested.
4Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money to third parties for their own independent marketing. However, our use of advertising and analytics partners (described below) may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain US state privacy laws, and you may opt out at any time (see Section 5). We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Home Improvement Professionals: We share your inquiry details, including your name, contact information, ZIP code, and project description, with a licensed contractor (Cali First Remodel, Inc., CSLB Lic. #1105991) and/or other licensed home renovation professionals qualified to fulfill your project request. These professionals may contact you directly regarding your estimate.
- Advertising & Analytics Partners: We use Microsoft Clarity for website and session analytics, and the Meta (Facebook) Conversions API and Pixel to measure and optimize our advertising. For advertising measurement we share online identifiers and hashed contact information (for example, email and phone hashed with SHA-256) and technical data such as your IP address with Meta. These technologies are active by default; you can opt out at any time through our cookie banner or our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out. Under some state laws this constitutes “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising — see Section 5 to opt out.
- Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party vendors to operate our website, process data, send communications, and support our business operations. These vendors are contractually bound to process your information only on our behalf and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information when required to do so by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
5California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
🏭 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — Your Rights
If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (CPRA). This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.
🔍 Right to Know
You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes for collecting it, and any third parties with whom it was shared.
🗑 Right to Delete
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business operations.
✋ Right to Opt-Out
You have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Exercise it on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.
✏ Right to Correct
You may request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing.
🔒 Right to Limit Use
You may request that we limit the use and disclosure of your sensitive personal information to those uses necessary to provide the services you requested.
⚔ Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. You will not receive a different price, quality of service, or be denied goods or services for exercising these rights.
How to Submit a Request: To exercise any of the rights listed above, use our Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share page. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require you to provide information consistent with what we have on file. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.
Categories of Personal Information Collected: In the past 12 months, we have collected identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (project requests), and internet activity data (website usage). We have not collected sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: We do not sell personal information for money. We do share your inquiry with the contractor(s) who fulfill it, and we share online identifiers with Meta for advertising measurement — which may be a “sale” or “sharing” under California and other state laws. To opt out, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or enable Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we treat as a valid opt-out.
Residents of Other States: If you live in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have comparable rights — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. Submit requests the same way (our Privacy Choices page); we honor GPC as an opt-out of targeted advertising/sale where the law recognizes it.
6Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are active by default; you can opt out at any time through the cookie banner shown on your visit or our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we automatically opt you out when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. The technologies we use include:
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for the website to function (including remembering your privacy choice). These cannot be disabled.
- Microsoft Clarity (analytics / session replay): Helps us understand how visitors interact with the page. Loaded by default; it stops if you opt out (decline in the banner) or send a GPC signal.
- Meta Pixel / Conversions API and the
_fbp/_fbccookies (advertising): Used to measure and optimize our advertising with Meta. Set by default; opting out or a GPC signal prevents these and removes them.
You can change your choice at any time by declining in the banner, by enabling Global Privacy Control, or by using our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Disabling these technologies does not affect your ability to submit the estimate form.
7Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis, and regular security assessments of our systems.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that creates a material risk of harm to you, we will notify you as required by applicable state law.
8Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including providing you with estimate services, maintaining business records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Typically, this means we retain inquiry and lead data for a period of up to three (3) years from the date of collection, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
You may request early deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to the exceptions described in Section 5 (Right to Delete).
9Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are directed exclusively to adults and are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately through our website contact form. We will take prompt steps to delete such information from our records upon verification.
10Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or regulatory requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
